Butterswood Cottages

There are three comfortable and well presented, self-catering holiday cottages.

Each cottage is independent and self-sufficient, with a lake view.

Cottage guests share an exclusive large private fishing area on the Lily Pond but can fish on any of our three ponds.

Cottage features include:

Flat screen TV with separate DVD players in living rooms and bedrooms.

Large collection of DVD’s, books and jigsaws for guests use.

There is a lovely Kitchen including a full size cooker with a ceramic hob, microwave, full size fridge and small freezer.

The kitchen contains all the necessary essentials for self-catering including, cutlery, crockery, pans, roasting tins and glasses. T-towels, towels, washing up liquid, sponge, dish cloth and cleaning fluids including anti bacterial cleaner.  Kitchen paper, hand wash and hand sanitiser.

The table will be laid with a crisp white tablecloth with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco as a welcome gift.

We also supply a complimentary condiment hamper including, T-Bags, Sugar, Coffee, Ketchup, Brown Sauce, Mayonnaise,  Soy Sauce and a packet of Cadburys Chocolate biscuits.

In the fridge there will be a bottle of semi-skimmed milk, a tub of margarine and a fresh loaf of bread.

Beds will be made up with white cotton bedding.

Fluffy towels are provided as well as toilet paper, hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

There is an iron and ironing board and hair dryer for cottage guests to use during their stay.

All gas and electricity usage is included.

All areas in and around the cottages are non smoking.

Oak Cottage – sleeps up to 4

Oak Cottage is a beautiful single storey dwelling.

Upon entering the cottage you will find a beautiful large modern open plan kitchen.

The dining area has an oak breakfast table and faux leather chairs.

The generous living area has two comfortable sofas, one of which has recliners on each end.

A large flat screen TV with a separate DVD player and a cosy fire place with an electric fire.

There are large french doors which have a beautiful view of the Lily ponds and patio area.

Through a corridor off the living area are two lovely bedrooms.

The first one has a comfortable king size bed with oak headboard, this can be separated into two singles.

A flat screen TV with a separate DVD player, an oak dressing table and a large oak wardrobe.

The second has a comfortable double bed with an oak headboard, a TV with a separate DVD player and an oak chest of drawers.

There is a generous bathroom between the bedrooms with a shower, toilet and sink.

Holidays can be booked for a 3, 4, or 7 night stay. Please see our current price plan for 2023.

Beech Cottage – sleeps up to 4

Beech Cottage is a beautiful two storey building and is attached to the main house.

On the first floor there is a lovely bedroom which has a beautiful view of the Lily ponds and grounds.

Within the room there is a comfortable double bed with oak headboard, built in wardrobes and a flat screen TV and an en-suite toilet.

On the ground floor is a generous size living room with large french doors, these have a beautiful view of the Lily ponds and patio area.

Within the room there are two comfortable sofas, one of which transforms into a large double bed.

Theres a large flat screen TV with a separate DVD player and a cosy fire place with an electric fire.

Through a lovely oak door in the living room there is a luxury bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.

Beech Cottage has a beautiful large modern kitchen with an oak breakfast table and faux leather chairs.

The dining area for Beech Cottage is within a beautiful conservatory which houses an oak dining table and faux leather chairs.  The conservatory has a lake view and access via french doors out onto the patio.

Willow Cottage – sleeps up to 4

Willow Cottage is a beautiful single storey dwelling.

Upon entering the cottage, you will find a spacious hallway which leads to a generous bathroom with a large shower, toilet and sink.

There is also very large wardrobe behind sliding glass doors.

Through a solid oak door, you will find a beautiful large modern open plan kitchen.

The dining area has an oak table and faux leather chairs.

The generous living area has two comfortable sofas.

A large flat screen TV with a separate DVD player and a cosy fire place with an electric fire.

There are large french doors which have a beautiful view of the Lily ponds and patio area.

Off the living area are two lovely bedrooms.

The first one has a comfortable double bed a flat screen wall mounted TV, an oak dressing table and a large oak chest of drawers.

The second has twin beds, a flat screen wall mounted TV, an oak dressing table and a large oak chest of drawers.

Holidays can be booked for a minimum of 3 nights.
