This is the largest and the oldest of the four ponds at approximately 2 acres and built in 1982. This pond is situated immediately in front of the main house and 2 holiday cottages.
The pond has a picturesque island in the centre which is accessed by a wooden bridge. The island is home to an old water pump windmill and numerous trees and shrubs which provide a lush living environment for a variety of wildlife including Goldfinches, Pied Wagtales and Chaffinch.
The pond contains a variety of carp including mirror, common, leather and grass and rudd, roach, perch, tench and crucians.
